Come spend a day in my life with my BFF

Well friends of the blogosphere, as promised last week, I have released a new video on YouTube. The video (found at the end of this post) is not very representative of a normal Saturday for me, which is why I thought it would be fun to film. It was a packed April Saturday and you’ll see me get my first facial ever, visit a specialty vet with my BFF Laurel, make a sweet treat, and more. But first, here’s an unrequested life update:

Life has been super busy lately. It’s been a bit more hectic than I’d prefer, but it’s filled with all positive things that make my soul happy; aka seeing some friends. I finally feel like we are seeing the light at the end of the COVID-19 tunnel and boy am I relieved. I am of course still being mindful of who I see and where I go, but the pressure and stress of it all is feeling lighter and lighter — especially because I got my first vaccine dose on April 20! A few weeks ago, I wasn’t feeling too confident that I would have my vaccine by the end of May, but now, I will be fully vaccinated by the end May. This is definitely the best birthday present I could have received.

Speaking of my birthday, I am about to enter my quarter life crisis, as I am turning 25. I’m sure I will post some excessively deep, reflective blog post about that — so stay tuned (I hope you see my eyes rolling as I laugh at myself about my reflective posts). I have been quite busy planning for my birthday. I don’t usually do anything too wild for it, but this year, I am channeling my inner diva and making it an event. There’s two reasons for this: Last year, my birthday was on a Saturday during the pandemic. Whammy one. The second whammy was me having to work on it. The second reason I feel it is necessary to celebrate is because I have a four-day weekend for my birthday, which has never happened. It’s the perfect excuse to party it up a little more than usual!

You will definitely be filled in on all of that, but for now, I hope you enjoy this day in my 24-year-old life.
